At 7pm AEST on 20 May, Interconnect Chief Investigator Velissa Aplin and Project Advisory Board Member Katrina Roen will speak at Psychosocial Studies Intersex International (PSI-I)’s webinar Bringing psychosocial practice into action in hospital settings: an exploratory conversation and critical reflections.
Through conversations at the webinar, PSI-I hopes to address questions like:
(i) What kinds of challenges do psychosocial professionals face working within and alongside medical/multidisciplinary hospital teams?
(ii) What enables mutual respect and shared understanding within the team?
(iii) Who gets to be in the room together, talking with families?
